For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Gladwin and Shepherd meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Flying G's sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Bluejays. This was a revenge game for the Flying G's: when they faced off against the Bluejays on May 12th, they had to take a 5-4 defeat.

Gladwin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Shepherd, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 26-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Gladwin nor Shepherd have any future games scheduled.
