Volleyball Recap: Brentwood Academy Takes a Loss

Brentwood Academy lost against Maryville back in September of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Red Rebels.

Eva Donnelly paced Brentwood Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Donnelly got some help from Mary Margaret Dye and her 11 assists. Romey Specht controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Brentwood Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-9 record this season. As for Maryville, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Coming up, Brentwood Academy will venture away from home to challenge Pope John Paul II at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Maryville has already played their next contest (against Walker Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
