Soccer Recap: Grissom Comes Up Short

If Grissom was riding high fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Davidson on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell just short of the Huntsville Panthers by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Grissom can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 51st, while Huntsville are ranked ninth).

Grissom has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10-6 record this season. As for Huntsville, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

Looking ahead, Grissom will face off against Chelsea at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Huntsville, they will square off against Albertville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
