Plattsburgh won the last time they faced Saranac and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hornets walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Spartans.

The final score came out to 25-23, 22-25, 26-24, 25-17.

Essynce Gorham paced Plattsburgh's offense, picking up eight kills. Gorham got some help from Marlie Walker and her 27 assists. Walker was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Plattsburgh's record now sits at 2-0.

Plattsburgh has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Saranac Lake on the 11th. As for Saranac, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northern Adirondack at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
