Basketball Game Preview: T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets vs. Hillcrest Rams

The T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets will challenge the Hillcrest Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. T.L. Hanna will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

T.L. Hanna will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating Mauldin, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. T.L. Hanna walked away with a 50-40 victory over Mauldin on Friday. While the Yellow Jackets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hillcrest). They were the clear victor by a 61-39 margin over Wade Hampton on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

T.L. Hanna's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Hillcrest, their win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9.

Everything came up roses for T.L. Hanna against Hillcrest when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 77-20 victory. Does T.L. Hanna have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hillcrest turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
