The Spoto Spartans will head out to face off against the Sickles Gryphons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Spoto has given up an average of 26.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Spoto's last matchup with East Bay could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Spartans had to suffer through a 50-0 loss at the hands of the Indians. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Spartans were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Sickles played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Plant and fell 64-0. The Gryphons haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Sickles' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Spoto, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Everything came up roses for Spoto against Sickles in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 52-7 victory. In that matchup, the Spartans amassed a halftime lead of 44-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
