It's playoff time, and Triad had no trouble coming through when it counted. They strolled past the Mt. Vernon Rams with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 43-27. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Despite the loss, Mt. Vernon saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lucas Shelby posted seven points.

Triad's win bumped their record up to 28-6. As for Mt. Vernon, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-11.

Triad didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 28-26 victory against Centralia on the 7th. Mt. Vernon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
