Basketball Recap: Monroeville Comes Up Short

Monroeville lost against St. Paul back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Monroeville Eagles took a hard 48-33 fall against the St. Paul Flyers.

Monroeville now has a losing record at 1-2. As for St. Paul, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monroeville won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Margaretta at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Margaretta will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Monroeville surely won't give up without a fight. St. Paul will take on South Central in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
