Arcadia won the last time they faced Marcos de Niza and Tessa Dwyer-Kim did her part to make sure it happened again. The Titans came out on top against the Padres by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Dwyer-Kim, who had 24 digs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game.

Arcadia had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-10, 25-12, 25-19.

Arcadia's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 18-12. As for Marcos de Niza, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Arcadia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Rio Rico on the 4th. Marcos de Niza does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
