Volleyball Recap: Dacula Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Dacula was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Buford Wolves, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Falcons have suffered since October 15, 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12, 25-12.

Khloe Nixon paced Dacula's offense, picking up four kills. Nixon got some help from Amiliaa Deleon and her six assists. Finally, Alessia Kubeyinje kept Dacula's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Dacula's loss dropped their record down to 14-18. As for Buford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dacula will challenge rival Collins Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Buford is set to square off against their familiar foe Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
