Basketball Game Preview: Buckingham Charter Knights vs. Faith Christian Lions

Buckingham Charter and Faith Christian are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Buckingham Charter Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Faith Christian Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Buckingham Charter and ten for Faith Christian dating back to last season.

Buckingham Charter is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Valley Christian on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Buckingham Charter lost 70-46 to Valley Christian.

Meanwhile, Faith Christian scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They had to suffer through a 95-40 loss at the hands of John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills.

Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Buckingham Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Buckingham Charter strolled past Faith Christian in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 46-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for Buckingham Charter since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
