Meade entered their tilt with North County on Saturday with 17 consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 18. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the North County Knights 62-60. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-58 back in January.

Keon Scott was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 25 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ashton Turman, who posted 14 points.

Meade pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points over those games. As for North County, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-6.

Meade and North County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings. Meade (ranked 25th) will meet Crofton (ranked 195th) at 6:00 p.m. on March 4th. Meade is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54 points per game this season. Similarly, North County will challenge Southwestern at 3:45 p.m. on Monday up 223 places (55 vs. 278).
