Volleyball Recap: Long Beach Poly Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Long Beach Poly had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Jordan Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 4th.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Long Beach Poly took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-9, 25-11.

Long Beach Poly's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Jordan, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Long Beach Poly will challenge rival Lakewood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Jordan is set to square off against their familiar foe Woodrow Wilson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
