Fenton had won two straight home games and Noah Sheil did his part to make it three on Friday. The Tigers managed a 46-41 victory over the Linden Eagles for which the team can thank Sheil, who threw for 333 yards and four TDs, and also rushed for 87 yards and three scores. Sheil is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season.

Despite the defeat, Linden had strong showings from Noah Thomas, who picked up 104 receiving yards and one touchdown, and Max Widner, who threw for 179 yards and one TD. Thomas also put up 11 rushing yards, which were his first of the season.

Fenton's record is now 5-2. As for Linden, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Fenton will head out to face off against Goodrich at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Martians have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games. As for Linden, they are taking a road trip to take on Lake Fenton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Blue Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.57 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
