Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Hidden Valley

Hidden Valley won against North Valley on Friday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Hidden Valley Mustangs walked away with a 56-47 victory over the Creswell Bulldogs. The win was all the more spectacular given the Mustangs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 13th).

The victory made it two in a row for Hidden Valley and bumps their season record up to 6-4. As for Creswell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season.

Hidden Valley will challenge Brookings-Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Creswell, they will take on North Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
