Soccer Recap: Horizon Takes a Loss

Horizon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Broomfield Eagles. Horizon were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Nathaniel Norton, which was the first he's scored this season.

Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Broomfield, their win bumped their record up to 6-3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Horizon is set to square off against their familiar foe Erie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Broomfield will face off against rival Legacy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
