Volleyball Recap: St. John Paul II Panthers vs. L.E.A.D. Academy Lions
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. John Paul II had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the L.E.A.D. Academy Lions as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 28-26, 28-26, 25-20.
St. John Paul II's win bumped their record up to 7-15. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.
St. John Paul II wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Community Christian on the 17th. L.E.A.D. Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
