Soccer Game Preview: Altus vs. Miami

The Altus Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Miami Wardogs at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Altus' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Altus and Cache finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Altus' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Miami came up short against Nathan Hale on Monday and fell 3-1.

Miami's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. Altus' draw gives them a new season record of 0-4-1.

Altus skirted past Miami 2-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Wardogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
