Basketball Game Preview: Jamestown vs. Santa Fe Chiefs

Jamestown will take on the Santa Fe Chiefs in a tournament on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Jamestown beat Brunswick 44-32.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe blew past Slater, posting a 43-12 victory. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Santa Fe is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Jamestown, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-5.

Jamestown might still be hurting after the 56-36 loss they got from Santa Fe when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Jamestown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
