Everything went their way against the Riverside Generals on Friday as the Mandarin Mustangs made off with a 19-2 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Aidan Dye looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, John Brooks and Justin Hawkins did most of the damage at the plate: Brooks scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 4-for-4, while Hawkins scored three runs while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave Brooks a new career-high in hits. Cash Johnson was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Mandarin kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Riverside only managed five hits.

Mandarin's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Riverside, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Looking ahead, Mandarin is taking a road trip to challenge Sandalwood at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Sandalwood is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Riverside, they will welcome Westside at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
