Basketball Recap: Windermere Prep Falls Despite Big Games from Jazlyn Bowman and Eni Oyedeji

Windermere Prep suffered their biggest loss since December 28, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Winter Haven Blue Devils, falling 58-38. The game marked the Lakers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Windermere Prep had strong showings from Eni Oyedeji, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 14 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks, and Jazlyn Bowman, who went 5 for 12 en route to 11 points.

Leading Winter Haven to victory were Serenity Hardy and Quin?Nya Gray De Sanders. Hardy went 9 for 19 en route to 22 points and three steals, while Gray De Sanders went 7 of 14 on her way to 17 points and five steals. The matchup was Hardy's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Dariasia Pitts was another key player, putting up eight points and seven boards.

Windermere Prep's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Winter Haven, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.
