Soccer Recap: Western Takes a Loss

After soaring to six goals the game before, Western was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against Valley, falling 8-0. The defeat continues a trend for Western in their meetings with Valley: they've now lost nine in a row.

Western's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Valley, the win keeps them at an undefeated 3-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western will host Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Valley, they will challenge Zane Trace at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Valley will be up against Zane Trace's rather soft defense (which has allowed seven goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
