Basketball Recap: Dover Takes a Loss

Dover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Wallkill Valley Rangers, falling 56-23. The Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing 80-47 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dover's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wallkill Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Dover will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Palisades Park at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Wallkill Valley, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Kittatinny Regional on December 27th.
