Volleyball Recap: Oswego Gets the Win

Oswego lost to Iola back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Indians came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16.

Oswego's offense was headlined by Colby Pease and Autumn Neblett, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Kodi Trimble and her 13 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Oswego's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Iola, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Coming up, Oswego will challenge Yates Center on Tuesday. As for Iola, they will be playing at home against Osawatomie at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
