Soccer Game Preview: Wilson vs. Crestwood

The Wilson Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Crestwood Knights at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Wilson is coming into the matchup fresh off a high-scoring shootout with Hartsville that saw the pair combine for 30 shots on goal. The Tigers lost 6-0 to the Red Foxes on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Crestwood came up short against Darlington on Wednesday, falling 4-1. Crestwood were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Wilson's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Crestwood, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Wilson beat Crestwood by a goal in their previous meeting back in March, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
