Softball Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is Cabrini's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Cabrini won against Morris Jeff last Tuesday with 20 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Crescents didn't even let the Kennedy Cougars on the board, marking the Crescents' second-straight 20-0 shutout. Considering the Crescents have won six games by more than ten runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cabrini is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Kennedy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Cabrini will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cougars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Thursday.
