Softball Recap: Plainview-Elgin-Millville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Triton on Saturday, Plainview-Elgin-Millville came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons on Tuesday, falling 10-1. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Plainview-Elgin-Millville's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Wabasha-Kellogg, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10.

Plainview-Elgin-Millville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 20-1 defeat against St. Charles on the 14th. As for Wabasha-Kellogg, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-2 loss against Dover-Eyota on the 14th.
