Football Recap: Knightdale Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Knightdale played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Enloe Eagles and fell 55-25. The Knights have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Ziyeir Mclean-Leach and Chase White. Mclean-Leach gained 144 total yards and two touchdowns while White rushed for 70 yards and three TDs on only eight carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns White has posted since back in September of 2024. Leo Gorga was in the mix as well, providing Enloe with two scores.

Knightdale's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Enloe, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Knightdale will welcome Panther Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Enloe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Green Level at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
