Softball Recap: North Webster Takes a Loss

North Webster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 17-3 to the Downsville Demons, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Demons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-6 back in February.

North Webster's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Downsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

North Webster will look to defend their home field on Monday against North Caddo at 5:00 p.m. As for Downsville, they will head out to challenge Union Parish at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
