Basketball Recap: Corinth Warriors vs. New Albany Bulldogs
Corinth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 76-42 loss at the hands of the New Albany Bulldogs. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-14.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Albany to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amari Hubbard, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Issac Gilbert, who posted 11 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.
Corinth's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for New Albany, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hernando the next time they take the court. Corinth will host Hernando at 4:00 p.m. on December 27th, while New Albany will head out to face them at 11:30 a.m. on December 28th.
