Estacado had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.6 points) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Levelland Lobos 99-32. Given the Matadors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Lobos are ranked 611th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Estacado's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 27-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.0 points over those games. As for Levelland, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-19.

Estacado does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Levelland, they will take on Brock at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
