Baseball Recap: Umpqua Valley Christian Now 10-1 over Last 11 Games

Umpqua Valley Christian came out on top against Oakridge on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run sixth inning. The Monarchs blew past the Warriors 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Monarchs, who have now won 11 matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Umpqua Valley Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Oakridge, they moved to 17-10 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Umpqua Valley Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oakridge, they will square off against Lost River at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
