Football Recap: St. John's Christian Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

St. John's Christian Academy lost against Colleton Prep Academy back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cavaliers were beaten by the War Hawks 66-24.

Cale Owens was a one-man wrecking crew For Colleton Prep Academy. as he threw for 223 yards and four TDs on only 15 passes, and also rushed for 68 yards and one touchdown. Those four passing touchdowns gave Owens a new career-high. Tanner Wolf was another key player, rushing for 87 yards and one score on only eight carries.

St. John's Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Colleton Prep Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John's Christian Academy will head out to challenge Beaufort Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Colleton Prep Academy, they will take on Thomas Heyward Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the War Hawks their first taste of in-conference action this season.
