Football Game Preview: Holliston Panthers vs. Hopkinton Hillers

Holliston is 9-1 against Hopkinton since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Panthers will welcome the Hillers at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Last Friday, Holliston lost to Canton on the road by a 21-6 margin.

Even if they lost, Holliston's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. William Clasby was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with seven.

Meanwhile, Hopkinton played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by St. John's and fell 35-7. The Hillers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

This is the second loss in a row for Hopkinton and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Holliston, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Holliston against Hopkinton when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 34-7 win. In that contest, the Panthers amassed a halftime lead of 21-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
