Baseball Recap: Oak Hall Eagles vs. Seven Rivers Christian Warriors
Oak Hall's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 10-5 win over the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Lincoln Jones was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
