Football Recap: Suttons Bay Falls to Mendon in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Suttons Bay unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 64-0 defeat at the hands of the Mendon Hornets on Thursday.

Mendon had a senior duo take command as Owen Gorham rushed for 94 yards and three TDs on only nine carries and Ryder Gorham rushed for 102 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries. Owen didn't just play on offense: he also picked up two sacks and made two total tackles.

Suttons Bay didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-8 loss against Bear Lake on the 6th. As for Mendon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 28-24 victory against Britton Deerfield on the 4th.
