Basketball Game Preview: Uplift Titans vs. Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks

The Uplift Titans will face off against the Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Uplift: 20.1, Steinmetz College Prep: 20.6) so any points scored will be well earned.

Uplift is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Douglass for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-4 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Titans who have now won three games in a row.

Uplift relied on the efforts of Arianna Ollison, who posted 30 points, and Keera Watts, who scored 19 points. The match was Watts' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Shyann Donley also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Meanwhile, Steinmetz College Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over Austin College and Career Academy on Friday, taking the game 43-32.

Uplift pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.0 points per game. As for Steinmetz College Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Uplift was able to grind out a solid victory over Steinmetz College Prep in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 35-23. Does Uplift have another victory up their sleeve, or will Steinmetz College Prep turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
