Basketball Recap: Dayspring Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Dayspring Christian Academy lost against Roanoke Valley Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dayspring Christian Academy Lions took a 52-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roanoke Valley Christian EAGLES. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Logan Gutierrez was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 20 points and nine boards for Roanoke Valley Christian. Jacob Mioduszewski was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten boards.

Dayspring Christian Academy now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Roanoke Valley Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Dayspring Christian Academy is taking a road trip to square off against King's Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dayspring Christian Academy is facing King's Christian Academy at the right time seeing as King's Christian Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Roanoke Valley Christian, they will square off against Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
