Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Springfield). They never let the Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Thursday. It was an even better day for Madelyn Mackenzie as she scored three goals for her team.

Springfield is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five matchups. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Coincidentally, Springfield and Ezell-Harding Christian will both be playing Hunters Lane the next time they take the pitch. The Yellow Jackets will host the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
