Volleyball Recap: Ravenswood Takes a Loss

Ravenswood suffered their biggest loss since September 23rd on Wednesday. They came up short against the Ripley Vikings, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-13.

Ripley had a senior duo take command as Delaney Howery had 13 digs and two aces and Jalyn Ramsey had nine digs and one assist. Howery is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Ravenswood's loss dropped their record down to 31-12. As for Ripley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-11.

Coming up, Ravenswood will challenge St. Joseph Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ripley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
