Hononegah waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Rockford Auburn Knights by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.
Hononegah easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15.
Hononegah was led to victory by Owen Rollinson and Jack Allen. Rollinson had three digs and one block, while Allen had six kills, five digs, and three aces. Rollinson is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 13 games he's played.
Hononegah pushed their record up to 23-5 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Rockford Auburn, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-13.
