Ridgeway won the last time they faced Melrose, and Jayden Williams did his part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Ridgeway Roadrunners' way against the Melrose Golden Wildcats on Tuesday as the Ridgeway Roadrunners made off with a 57-34 victory thanks in part to Williams, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Another player making a difference was Demario Johnson, who posted seven points and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played.

Ridgeway's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Melrose, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Ridgeway didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 81-51 victory against Power Center Academy on the 24th. Melrose has also already played their next contest (against Hamilton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
