Soccer Game Preview: Anzar vs. Pacific Grove

The Anzar Hawks will head out on the road to challenge the Pacific Grove Breakers at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Anzar didn't have quite enough to beat Varsity Opponent and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Pacific Grove didn't have quite enough to beat Marina on Friday and fell 3-2. The Breakers haven't had much luck with the Mariners recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Yeshua Erickson and Nils Bystroem scored both of Pacific Grove's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Anzar's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Pacific Grove, they now have a losing record at 4-5-3.

Anzar came up short against Pacific Grove in their previous meeting back in January, falling 3-1. Can Anzar avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
