Volleyball Recap: Irmo Takes a Loss

Irmo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Lexington Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Irmo's loss dropped their record down to 5-13-1. As for Lexington, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-15 record this season.

Irmo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against River Bluff on the 7th. As for Lexington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Chapin on the 7th.
