Basketball Recap: Hackensack Takes a Loss

Hackensack was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 49-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ridgewood Maroons. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Maroons are ranked 105th).

Hackensack's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Ridgewood, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Hackensack has already played their next contest (against Ramapo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ridgewood also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Eastside.
