Volleyball Recap: Ponder Victorious

Ponder won the last time they faced Lake Worth and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bullfrogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Kennedy Simon paced Ponder's offense, picking up 17 kills. Simon got some help from Zoe Dishman and her 22 assists. Kinley Peacock controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Ponder now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lake Worth, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Ponder and Lake Worth will both be playing North Forney the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bullfrogs will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
