Volleyball Recap: Coventry Extends Winning Streak to Four

Coventry came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-11, 25-18.

Coventry had a senior duo take command as Brooke White had 20 digs and two aces and Beatrice Rizzi had seven digs and two aces. White is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Coventry was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Coventry's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Sports & Medical Sciences Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coventry and Sports & Medical Sciences Academy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Patriots will take on rival East Windsor at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sports & Medical Sciences Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Capital Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
