Linden entered their tilt with Midland on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took down the Midland Chemics 73-56. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Chemics are ranked 315th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Linden pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Midland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Linden will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Yale at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. Midland will take on Dow in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
