Caldwell and Nutley are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Chiefs will take on the Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Caldwell's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Nutley's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Caldwell came up short against West Essex on Thursday, falling 9-3. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Nutley didn't have quite enough to beat Lyndhurst on Saturday and fell 3-2.

Nick Gaccione was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out eight batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.

At the plate, Nutley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Machtemes, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Caldwell's record now sits at 19-4. As for Nutley, their record is now 15-9.

Caldwell couldn't quite finish off Nutley in their previous meeting on Wednesday and fell 4-2. Can the Chiefs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
