After losing to Knoxville Central the last time they met, Jefferson County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Patriots were the clear victors by  an  11-1 margin over the Bobcats on Friday. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by seven  runs or more this season.
 Jackson Ormonde and  Caleb Franklin were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound,  Ormonde   tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Franklin   tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. At bat,  Ormonde  went 3-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI, while  Franklin  went 2-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Brody Carr, who  went 2-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI.
 Jefferson County  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That's the most  hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Jefferson County is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-15 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Knoxville Central, they now  have a losing record of 11-12.
 Looking ahead, Jefferson County will be playing in front of their home fans against Morristown-Hamblen East  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Patriots are facing the Hurricanes at the right time seeing as the Hurricanes are stuck on  a  ten-game losing streak. Knoxville Central has  already played their next  contest (against West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
